WELCOME
My name is Paul and I have spent more than twenty-five years in the United States (N.J). By the way I'm one of the few taxi-drivers in Greece who doesn't smoke!
My goal is to provide the highest level of satisfaction to my customers and offer the best value for touring Greece. I can promise you that if you take a journey with me, whether it is a day trip or a week long excursion around the country, you will come back with a better understanding of Greece, and you will have perhaps the best vacation of your life.
If you want to make the most of your time in Greece you definitely have to travel in my two (2) brand new, air-conditioned, E-class Mercedes taxi or my two (2) brand new, fully air-conditioned Mercedes minibus sprinters. One seats up to sixteen (16) passengers plus the driver and the guide comfortably while the other one seats up to twelve (12) passengers plus the driver and the guide comfortably. All vehicles are classified as public transportation and are licensed by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) license number 0206E80000080201.
Of course, I am not working alone. My two sons and my two drivers are in the business as well. And I have also carefully selected some associates. All of them are professionals and speak English well. So, if I am personally already booked, then I will recommend to use one of them. Do not worry, they are all very good otherwise I would not recommend them! All vehicles are smoke free.
My daughter is also involved in the family business. She is a Tour Operator - Travel Agent and member of The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) with license number 0206E60000330501 operating in Athens, Greece.

GREECE
A country of southeast Europe on the southern Balkan Peninsula and including numerous islands in the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Ionian seas. Settled by Achaeans, Aeolians, Ionians, Minoans, and Dorians by 1000 B.C., the region grew as an amalgam of independent city-states, many of which established colonies throughout the Mediterranean by the eighth century B.C. Classical Greek culture, centered around Athens, reached a high point in the fifth century B.C. before being conquered by Philip II of Macedon in 338 B.C. The area was later controlled by the Roman and Byzantine empires before being absorbed into the Ottoman empire (1456). In 1821, Greece gained its independence and established a constitutional monarchy. The king was deposed following a military coup in April 21st 1967, and a democratic republic was established in 1974. Athens is the capital and the largest city. Population: 11,000,000.
If you are wondering when is the best time to come to Greece, from the point of view of things to see and do, any time of the year is the answer. The tourist season lasts from April to November, peaking in August. In general, the best months are April, May, June, September, October and November. Consider very seriously a winter holiday in Greece. In winter you can enjoy the city and the country side without the many tourists who traditionally visit in the summer.
ATHENS
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. In the fifth century B.C, during the time of Pericles, it was at the height of its cultural achievements and imperial power. Athens became the capital of modern Greece in 1834, two years after the country achieved its independence from Turkey. Population: 762,000. Some of the sites that you must visit are: The Acropolis, The New Acropolis Museum, The Temple of Zeus, The Panathenaic Stadium, The Hill of Lycabettous, The Old Palace, The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier and The Changing of The Guards, The Plaka for lunch, The Greek Agora, The Roman Agora and The Tower of Winds, and finally The National Archaeological Museum.
It is almost an island but not quite. It is one of the most beautiful regions in the country. It is full of historic sites and ancient ruins. Its seas are of the bluest blue. Its villages are pearl white jewels hidden by flowers and trees. Its landscapes are breathtaking. It is Peloponnese. There are many sites you can visit on one-day excursion basis, within easy reach of Athens. Some of the sites you can visit are: Ancient Corinth, Acrocorith, Canal, Mycenae, Nemea, Nafplion, The Theater of Epidaurus, Ancient Sparta and Mystras, Olympia, The Temple of Epikourios Appollon, Kalavryta, The Cave of the Lakes-kastria, The Cave of Diros, Monemvasia, Kalamata, Methone, Koroni, Pylos, Lousios Gorge, Dimitsana.
If you are the type of person that likes outdoor activities then I highly recommend the two day tour to Olympia and Lousios Gorge; a beautiful combination of history with nature.
Hiking in Lousios Gorge, a beautiful canyon in the Peloponnese
This is a bit off the beaten track. For those that like to go hiking this is a great place to visit. A five (5) kilometer gorge with several hiking trails, and a very good bridge crossing Lousios river. You can walk from one village to another following a dirt road through the mountains in beautiful scenery that even has some small waterfalls. The Lousios river is where Zeus used to bath himself, In the spectacular densely vegetated gorge and in the rivers crystal clear waters.
